'Could I even cope if that stuff happened to me?'
'Nah, that's totally never going to happen to me - right?'
'And then it does. It does happen to you. And nothing prepares you for how fierce it is.'

Six very different people attending a trauma recovery group find their own ways of coping in the aftermath of a terrorist attack in the heart of London. Nothing will ever be the same again for any of them, but their shared experience, new relationships, new purpose and the sheer urge to live, keep them hoping and loving. By turns terrifying, inspiring, brutal, tender, heart-breaking and hilarious, BU21 is verbatim theatre for the 21st Century.

Stuart Slade's play premiered at Theatre503, London, in 2016, in a co-production with Kuleshov, before transferring to the Trafalgar Studios, London, in January 2017.
