The Second 24-Hour Play Festival

The 24-Hour Play Festival was a project started in 2023 to devise, write, rehearse and perform several 10 minute plays in 24-hours. The second 24-Hour Play Festival started on the evening of Friday 6 September with five teams of actors being allocated a director and writer each. The teams discussed ideas for a 10-minute play prompted by a randomly drawn prop and the writer went away and wrote the play overnight. The teams reconvened on the morning of Saturday 7 September to rehearse. All the plays were then performed on Saturday evening.
